Located in Chandler, Arizona, Paw in Hand provides custom made training sessions for dogs in the most effective environment, your own home. Force free methods are used here along with encouragement and fun!
TRAINING HERE
The most important part of training here is that your dog is truly enjoying each session. There are so many personalities, needs, fears and other unique traits that makes a dog different from the next. All of these factors are considered in order to provide the best course of action for each session. Training is meant to improve the understanding and communication between dogs and their people. After your session, resources are provided that are custom made so progress is maintained.
TRAINING SERVICES PROVIDED
PRIVATE TRAINING SESSION
This is a one hour personalized training session in your own home. This includes assistance from the trainer over the phone/messaging for one week after your session. After a consultation, Stacy will come to your home to assess the natural environment in order to provide the best guidance.
THERAPY DOG EVALUATION
This is to assess the temperament and personality of your dog to confirm compatibility with therapy dog standards. Evaluation is required before beginning therapy dog training.
THERAPY DOG TRAINING SESSION
A one hour training session to prepare for the AKC CGC.
SERVICE DOG TRAINING
A consultation and several meetings with the trainer are necessary before beginning this process. Training a service dog requires complete dedication and commitment in order for the best chances of a successful placement. Not only does a dog need to be able to preform tasks and behave appropriately, but most importantly, they must enjoy “working”. Just like any other training provided here, the dog’s happiness and well being will always be first!

I can’t recommend Paw in Hand K9 Training enough. Stacy is so good with dogs (and their people!). We’ve only had a couple of sessions but walking our Blossom has become so easy and her Sit (Stay) has made her so proud of herself!
